PFLAG Canada is Canada’s only national organization that helps all Canadians with issues of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. PFLAG Canada supports, educates and provides resources to all individuals with questions or concerns.
The name PFLAG originated in the U.S. as an acronym for Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. In Canada, a wider concept for the organization had been adopted, as PFLAG Canada considers potential users of its services to be anyone within the LGBTQ community, any individual touched by issues of sexual orientation or gender identification or expression, as well as organizations, businesses, levels of government and other health and mental health services.
PFLAG Canada provides support, education, and resources on issues of sexual orientation and gender expression. There are over 60 chapters of PFLAG Canada across the nation.
Visit the PFLAG Canada website for information and resources on LGBTQ issues.
